Mission Call

January 17, 2015 Mission call opening

Courtney didn't open her call for two long days!  Saturday was the earliest that everyone could get together.  Family, friends and neighbors came to support Sister Baggett!


Sister Baggett,
You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  You are assigned to labor in the Missouri Independence Mission.  In addition to your calling to share the gospel, you will be assigned to serve in the Independence Visitors' Center.  It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 18 months.
You should report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, May 6, 2015.  You will prepare to preach the gospel in the Spanish language.

January 15, 2015 Picking up mission call

Courtney was at BYU when she sent in her mission papers.  She had her call mailed to her Provo address because "I want to go to the mailbox to pick it up myself".  It wasn't exactly a mailbox but the mail trailer for Heritage Halls.
